Mandarin Salad

8-10 servings per salad, 1 salad per table

INGREDIENTS:

  1 salad 5 salads 10 salads
  1 head lettuce 5 heads 10 heads
  1/4 sweet onion, thinly sliced 1 1/4 sweet onion 2 1/2 sweet onions
  2 oz slivered almonds 10 oz 20 oz
  1 11 oz can mandarin oranges 55 ounces total 110 ounces total
  1 1/4 oz chow mein noodles 6.25 ounces 12.5 ounces
       
  Dressing for 15 salads - put 1/2 cup dressing on each salad.
  3 3/4 cup vegetable oil    
  1 3/4 c + 2 Tbsp sugar    
  1 3/4 c + 2 Tbsp cider vinegar    
  7 1/2 tsp salt    
  1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp black pepper    
  1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp paprika    

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix salad ingredients
  2. Mix dressing
  3. Serve
