The Knights of the Eternal Flame

In 1991 Shannon, who had founded the Knights of the Realms and had long been one of the central figures in the Realms, had stopped playing as Prince Bob. At the Duke of Glenndale that year he made an appearance as Prince Bob and founded a new order of Knights that were intended to become the stepping stone to becoming a Knight of the Realms. This new order was the Knight of the Eternal Flame.

The Knights of the Eternal Flame were in part meant to provide an opportunity for the recognition of people who had excelled in a chosen field without becoming a "pillar of the community". Almost every knighting has been accompanied by both support and criticism, and there has always been individuals who felt or were seen as being overlooked.
