Knightly Lineage

The question of lineage in knighthood is an interesting one. The basic concept is that your lineage goes back through the person who knighted you, and then the person who knighted them, and so forth. The bottom line is that your lineage has little to nothing to do with the quality of your knighthood and how well respected you are.

That said, the Knights of Rhiassa take pride in having a lineage that stretches back to the first Knights of the Realms. That lineage is different if you take into account OOC knighthoods, but let's take a look at just the IC lineage first.

The Rhiassan IC lineage would be:

A look at the OOC lineage would include the FIRST induction into an OOC order as the key point to consider. Lineage here is viewed in terms of squirings that were actually knighted. In some cases, lineage isn't easy to determine. Steve Johnson (Sir Gunnar) squired Steve Matulewicz (Sir Pyr) but Pyr was actually knighted by Carol Livermore (Myriel) into the IC order, the Knights of Eagle's Rook.

The Rhiassan OOC lineage might look like this, but at this point it's largely guesswork.
